Hi, everyone I'm using KGHOSTVIEW and EVINCE for PDF viewer, but some characters of my country language is broken. However, Acrobat Reader in Windows displays well. Is there Acrobat Reader package for Debian? Thanks in advance. Regards, J.H.Kim

Pursuant to the Debian Social Contract (http://debian.org/social_contract), no. You might find a package in non-free or at debian-multimedia.org. Of course, it probably won't help since your problem is, most likely, fonts. -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. bss@iguanasuicide.net ((_/)o o(\_)) ICQ: 514984 YM/AIM: DaTwinkDaddy `-'(. .)`-' http://iguanasuicide.net/ \_/ --nextPart1356788.rX5IZ8MCxU Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEABECAAYFAko1po4ACgkQdNbfk+86fC0XfACghLypInnU1/fXSmh2l588/dMT t3UAn0DUHjta0BPMg46RXyZjYxbsAz0k =Qhjo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1356788.rX5IZ8MCxU--

You might find a package in non-free or at debian-multimedia.org. It also has a relatively poor security record. I figure you're advised not to make it your default PDF reader. > > Of course, it probably won't help since your problem is, most likely, fonts. Did you install all needed fonts and/or is this file using embedded ones? > Is there Acrobat Reader package for Debian? Not in main, since its non free software. Maybe you can find some acrobat package on non-free section of debian distribution but I recommend to don't use it due the issue with properiarian software and a number of security issues known against acrobat reader itself.
