timeriomem-rng and rng-tools

Hello List,

I am running my Lenny box with the latest stable kernel (2.6.30):
I want to give a try to the module timeriomem-rng :
after loading it, no /dev/hwrng is present. Installing the package rng-tools
did not help: is it expected ? or is timeriomen-rng not yet supported beyond the kernel ?

Thanks in advance,
Jerome
