HI,

konqueror shows up in the list for me either logged in as non-root or root.

You might want to add the path to your PATH environment variable...
In my system it's found as /opt/kde3/bin/konqueror.

Subject: [opensuse] konqueror do not run in root session

i've installed openSuse 10.2_i386 in two different machine
both of them can't run konqueror from command line

the details are:

chika@mars:~> sudo bash
mars:/home/chika # k
kbd_mode kde kibitz killall5 klogd
kroot ksysguardd
kbdrate kernelversion kill killproc kpartx
ksh
kbxutil keygen killall klogconsole kpartx_id
ksymoops

that's all command with prefix "k", there is no konqueror on the list

ive try change init default from '5' to '3' then login as root then
startx, then kde desktop appears(wonder that would be fine for gnome too
but how?) off course the konqueror works well here.

then reboot, login as chika again from cli try the same
chika@mars:~> sudo bash
mars:/home/chika # k (try get konqueror here... but....)
kbd_mode kde kibitz killall5 klogd
kroot ksysguardd
kbdrate kernelversion kill killproc kpartx
ksh
kbxutil keygen killall klogconsole kpartx_id
ksymoops

again there isn't konqueror on the list, what should i do?

cheers,

chika
