how to sequence reaktor on the PC

I'm trying to figure out how people actually sequence reaktor on the
PC. What sequencer does everybody use and how do you use Reaktor
with it? Or do you just build sequencers in Reaktor itself? Do you
have a separate computer you use for the sequencer?

I've been trying to use it as a VSTi in Cubase, but I can't get any
knobs to show up and 3 won't even let me load an ensemble. Do you
have to create the ensemble prior to trying to sequence it and then
load it up as a VSTi? Or can you edit the structure even when it's
loaded?

Ideally I want to be able to sequence all the parameters of an
ensemble from a decent sequencing program like Cubase, preferrably
while an audio multitrack is running or even recording (I have a
Terratec Card with 8 ins/ 8 outs). I even tried using Cubase as just
the sequencer with audio turned off completely and route thru midi
yoke, but my computer crashes as soon as any midi is sent.

Thanks, Jerm
