I had said something about putting my ancient peyotl outside, it having been indoors and under lights for about four years. I mean to put it in a shady place. my husband in trying to be helpful, put it outside with all the other cactus plants IN FULL BLAZING SUN. The top is all burned and crispy but the "waistline" of the plants are not burned. I just took it back into the house and watered it and replaced it under its usual light, which is enough to induce flowering. Mostly I want it just NOT TO CROAK. the cosmetic appearance which was so PERFECT, it will, if it lives, replace that. any guesses on survival? this was an honest mistake from a person who does not know about hardening off things. I have tons of other cactus growing in full blazing sun. <sobs uncontrollably> hermine ------------------------------------ Posted by: Hermine Stover <hermine@endangeredspecies.com> ------------------------------------ ALL postings to this list are © to the original writer.
